Security Doors Skydas Standart 2
The construction of this door was created to be burglar resistant. This type of security standard was approved by the laboratory IFT Rosenheim from Germany. Be very carreful, SKYDAS STANDART 2 must own locks no lower than third security class and one should be protected by a drilling proofplate.
The door is suitable for houses because is made of waterproof, also for apartaments and has a great sound and thermal insulation. Waterproof material is certified in Belgium with Umidax HLS, which retains its characteristics after physical damage. Painted in polyurethane, stopping discolouring for a lot of time. Skydas Standart 2 door can be fire resistant if you choose this extra option. Use galvanized steel RUUKKI for entrance door construction

Standard door set
- Door frame – bent L-shaped profile of 100 mm, fixed in aperture by 16 pins, protected from cutting by steel liners of 24 mm.
- Door leaf – Total width of the leaf is 75 mm. Special bent metal construction with 100% thermal, a protective box of the lock and insulation by two 50 mm rock wool sheets.
- Hinges with supporting bearings, covered with chrome-plated finishing caps – 2 pieces.
- Protective pins for door hinges – 2 roll pins 16 mm, 4 stable pins 12 mm
- Insulation seals – 2 pieces.
- Resistant seal against fire (if you choose to be made like that).
- Peephole
- Outside and inside door leaf finish – painted Umidax HLS board
- Outside architraves.
- Inside architraves (if the door has to be fire-resistant).
- Locks – optional, but no lower than 3rd security class.

Door characteristics
Safe
Specially bent L-shaped has a 100 mm wide door frame. This door has 6 bending stronger than rectangular or tube frame, which have only 4 bending edges, better than of an ordinary armoured door. The frame has in the opening 16 plugs, which are protected by steel liners of 24 mm, thus there is no need to fix the door in concrete. Internal leaf construction is reinforced by rigid edges that don’t allow burlgars to enter in your home. The locks installed can’t be lower than 3rd security class and at least one of them must be under protection of a drilling resistant plate. On the hinges side are 6 protective pins that do not allow dislodging the door leaf if the hinges are destroyed. Two pins of 16 mm, roll on bearings and therefore are difficult to cut. The other 4 pins of 12 mm are stable. It is recommended to use galvanized steel RUUKKI for entrance door construction.
Saves the heat
As the bent profile leaf structure does not have closed cavities, it can be completely thermally insulated by 50 mm rock wool. The L-shaped bent frame and threshold ensure exclusive tightness as an additional seal is applied to the entire perimeter. Thermal transmittance of SKYDAS STANDART 2 is 1.3 W/(m2–K), i.e. the same like of 6-chamber plastic windows. This type of door is suitable for apartaments and private houses.
Tight, good heat and sound insulation
Due to the full thermal insulation of the door construction, the sound insulation of the door Skydas Standart 2 is 41 dB. This door is very tight and it will perfectly shuts out the smoke from the outside.
Fire resistant
This is an extraoption for fire resistant specific to Skydas Standart 2 doors. It help the door to protect from fire for almost 45 minutes and withstand the temperature of 1000ºC. The certificate was issued by Inspecta Estonia OU, No. 1527-CPD-0017.
Durable and lasting, convenient to use
Amada, the name of programmed machine that manufacture all Skydas doors, which can process metal with the precision of 0.1 mm, therefore, their construction is accurate and straight. As hinges with supporting bearings are used, the doors are easy to open and close, despite of heavier weight characteristic to metal doors. All our tests indicated that even after 200,000 cycles of opening and closing the door remained intact. The internal construction of the door hasn’t closed cavities, the construction of metal is covered in powder coating, that ensures long-term surface protection from corrosion. Under necessity, door finish can be easily replaced. It is recommended to use galvanized steel RUUKKI for entrance door construction.
Simple to take care of
Painted door finish does not require any specific care and can be easy to clean with non-abrasive cleaners.
Available designs
Choose a design from our 200 finish carvings or we can manufacture a door according to your home project.If you need warmer door designed specially for outdoors conditions, we recommend you SKYDAS 2000 type.However, if higher security level is necessary, choose security doors SKYDAS STANDART 3, or SKYDAS PREMIUM, which burglar resistance is bigger and certified by laboratory IFT Rosenheim from Germany. These door models were created applying the knowledge of the above mentioned laboratory of all possible ways and methods of burglary.
Technical data
The door is manufactured precisely according to necessary measurements.
Important:
Burglar resistance certificate is applicable to door measurements 2100×980 mm. The height and width of the door can be increased by 10% or reduced by 20%.
Fire resistance EI45 of the fire resistant door is applicable to measurements up to 2100x 980 mm. If the height or width is increased by 15% (but not more than 20% of the total area), fire resistance will be EI30.
